This painting is inspired by my friend and great photographer Vin Singh who spends lots of time photographing the beauty of Iceland. In this work I am referencing the fact that Iceland is the Land of the Midnight Sun. Where the sun never quite sets in the winter it casts a golden glow on on the mountains. There are essentially only two colours here...variations of gold and grey so this atmospheric painting will fit any décor.
A good large size at 36"x48" it is oil on canvas and framed in a black floating frame which accents the grays in the painting.
