Although I love colour, sometimes the essence of an image is best seen in black and white. I love the undulations of sand dunes and the different shadows they cast as the sun moves across the sky. Sure, they are usually a sandy brown, but take a look at how the black and white image allows you to see the subtle movements that you would otherwise not notice. A very unique piece that is a conversation starter.
This is a 16"x20" acrylic on wood panel with a buffed resin and cold wax finish contained in, of course, a black floating frame.
