From my Topography Series. Imagine flying over the Hawaiian Islands and looking down on the lava flows. That's the inspiration for this work. It is a beautifully understated piece that fits well in any décor.
This is 12"x16" acrylic on Venetian Plaster (which gives it the texture) and finished with shiny resin making the greys and golds really pop. Also finished with wraparound painted sides in black so a frame is not required.
